born on chaitra shukla tritiya; 14th March 1884 in Thinnevally (Thirunelveli).

In 1925, he became the 143rd Shankaracharya of Govardhana Peetha,Puri

and Swamiji attained Mahasamadhi on vasanta panchami day - 2nd Feb 1960 in Mumbai.
